Short-course combination therapy with aminoglycoside in patients with sepsis or septic shock is still a matter of debate. Arguments for its use are broadening the spectrum, and enhance bacterial killing. The aim of the study was to quantify the impact of this approach on 30-day mortality in sepsis patients with Gram-negative (GN) bloodstream infection (BSI).
