Lyme neuroborreliosis (LNB) is often treated with intravenous ceftriaxone, although oral doxycycline has been suggested to be non-inferior to ceftriaxone in 2 previous small trials. The aim of this study was to further confirm that oral doxycycline is equally effective as ceftriaxone in the treatment of LNB.
