Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) has classically been one of the most important causes of severe sepsis and death among cancer patients with neutropenia and is associated with the highest mortality among different blood stream infections (BSIs) In part, this may be due to multidrug-resistant PA (MDRPA). It therefore seems relevant to know the frequency and risk factors of this multiresistance.
